Holy Synod Meets at St. Tikhon's
November 9 - 11, the Holy Synod met in Northeastern Pennsylvania, holding many of its sessions at St. Tikhon's. Bishops and seminarians had the opportunity to spend time together, enjoying repast and conversation. During its proceedings, the Holy Synod decided unanimously to elevate His Grace Bishop Daniel of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest to the dignity of archbishop.
