On March 23rd, 2014, the Sunday of the Cross, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Episcopate (OCA) ordained Reader Paul McDonald (STOTS 2013) to the Holy Diaconate at Ss. Constantine and Elena Romanian Orthodox Church in Indianapolis, IN.

Serving with his Eminence were Fr David Wey, parish priest of Ss. Constantine and Elena; Fr Daniel Hoarste; Archdeacon David Oancea, Chancellor of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America; Protodeacon Michael Myers; as well as Subdeacons John Lazar, Tom Roscoe, Frank Weiner, David Beck, and John Rigby. Deacon Paul will be serving the parish of Ss. Constantine and Elena, the parish in which he grew up.

Pray for Dn. Paul, his wife Anna and their unborn child as they enter into the joys and responsibilities of this next phase of their public ministry.
