Over 30k Raised to Support Displaced Alumni Family
“The love and support of people who have helped us during this time has been both overwhelming and sobering,” said Fr. Adam Sexton (STOTS 2008) as he was presented checks and donations for over thirty thousand dollars that had been raised on his family’s behalf by the seminary's Sexton Relief Fund.

On March 4th, 2012 a tragic fire destroyed many parts of the rectory of the St. John the Baptist Church in Nanticoke, PA where Fr. Adam is the pastor. The more details of the blaze can be read here and also in the interview with Fr. Adam in the upcoming 2012 Tikhonaire.

“Thankfulness doesn’t even begin to describe the gratitude my family and I have for this out-pouring of love and generosity. The response to this tragedy has been nothing short of a miracle and if I learned anything at all during my time at St. Tikhon’s it is that when a miracle is happening its best to take a step back and appreciate it but to by no means attempt to control it. My family and I are just thankful to be able to be part of such a move of the Holy Spirit on the hearts and minds of the faithful everywhere.”
