Alumni Update: Agia Sophia Cafe
The Agia Sophia Cafe and Bookstore held it's blessing service and pre-opening celebration this past Sunday 7/31.
His Grace Bishop Tikhon presided over the service. Among those present were many notables from both the Harrisburg area as well as the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Both Fr. Steven Vernak as well as Fr. Timothy Hojnicki are alumni of our seminary as are many of the clergy who were present at this historical event.
His Grace announced to the capacity crowd, "This event represents years of planning and hard work on the part of all those involved." He added, "May God bless and grow this missionary endeavor and may it touch the lives of everyone who comes in contact with it."
A very well done video presentation by the DOEPA Department of Communications can be seen here.
We have included our own video montage as well as the announcement by oca.org.
