In a moving finale to this year's Adult Education Lecture Series entitled "Back to Basics: Rediscovering teachings of the Orthodox Faith," Fr John Oliver, a graduate of St. Tikhon's Seminary and Assistant Pastor of St. Philip Antiochian Orthodox Church in Souderton, Pa, delivered a lecture on 11 October entitled: "The Orthodox Answer to 'Are You Saved?"

Fr John's talk centered on a Scripture-based Orthodox response to the all-to-frequent scenario of being confronted by a well-meaning"born-again" Christian who asks if you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior and thereby become assured of salvation.
