Fr. John Kowalczyk Speaks at CrossRoad 2.0

Director of Vocations and Spiritual Formation at St. Tikhon’s Seminary, Fr. John Kowalczyk, spoke at CrossRoad 2.0, held March 18–22, 2026, in Pompano Beach, FL, where Orthodox young adults from across North America gathered for five days of fellowship, learning, and spiritual renewal. His presentation focused on the theme of Love of Neighbor.

Hosted for Orthodox young adults ages 21 to 35, CrossRoad 2.0 was designed as a five-day retreat experience marked by fellowship, learning, and moments of introspection. The gathering featured short educational sessions, break-out discussions, and afternoons spent visiting various Orthodox churches in the area for worship services. Participants also had opportunities for quiet journaling, prayerful reflection, and consideration of their vocation amid the demands of daily life.

In addition to Fr. John’s presentation, the 2026 program included sessions led by Very Rev. Dr. Bogdan Bucur, Associate Professor of Patristics at St. Vladimir's Seminary, Nicholas Petrogeorge, Executive Director of OCPM, and Ana Legaspi Kashner, Director of CrossRoad Summer program, among others. The speakers' sessions addressed themes such as dogmatic theology, Scripture, vocation, and relationships, fostering many meaningful discussions central to the gathering.
