Office of the Registrar
In fulfilling the mission of his Office, the Registrar verifies and certifies fulfillment of program completions and degree requirements; arranges and supervises student registration for courses at the beginning of each semester; issues official transcripts, diplomas and certificates; receives and reviews transcripts of all new students for possible credit transfers in consultation with appropriate faculty members and the Academic Dean, and performs additional duties as defined by the Administrative Handbook and/or assigned to him by the Rector.

Biography
Sergei Dimitrievich Arhipov, Head Librarian, Registrar and Assistant Professor of Church Slavonic and Russian, is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts degree in Slavic Languages and Literatures, and Drexel University, where he was awarded a Master of Science degree in Library and Information Sciences.
He has been on the staff of St. Tikhon's Seminary since 1997. He has translated, compiled and edited numerous liturgical books and services, most notably The Apostol; The Daily Prayerbook; and The Hours and Typika, published by St Tikhon's Seminary Press. He has also edited The Lenten Triodion (Supplementary Texts) translated by Metropolitan Kallistos Ware and Mother Mary; and the translation from the Romanian of D. Staniloae's Orthodox Spirituality, by Archimandrite Jerome (Newville).
His current projects include complete new revisions of The Gospel Lectionary, The Holy Psalter, and The Liturgical Psalter. He is co-editor of the Annual Lectionary and Rubrics published by St. Tikhon's Monastery, and he prepares the annual St Tikhon's Monastery Wall Calendar.
Professor Arhipov is a Reader and serves as a Choir Director at Saint Mark's Orthodox Church in Wrightstown, Pennsylvania.
