St. Tikhon’s alumnus Fr. David Mezynski (STOTS 2004) successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled The Effects of the Origenist Controversy on the Pastoral Theology of Barsanuphius and John this past week at Fordham University. 

Fr. David has been working diligently for the past eight years while serving the Church as a priest and also as the Dean of Students of both St. Tikhon’s (2005-2009) and St. Vladimir’s (2009-2012) seminaries.

On behalf of the entire St. Tikhon’s Community we would like to take this time to congratulate and thank him for all the hard work he has endeavored to do on behalf of Christ’s Church and for all the hard work he will assuredly undertake in the future serving the Church wherever the Grace of God directs.
